Danzie as we call him, is one of our "jack of all trades" associates here at UHW. In addition to hanging chandeliers and placing wall art, you will find him repairing furniture, wrapping and packing sold merchandise and flipping rugs for clients. " I see things to do and I get them done" he comments.
Having arrived from Jamaica five years ago, he has been with UHW for about four years. "I like my bosses", he says. "They treat me well and share my values. This is a good place to work. I have developed friendships with customers as well and enjoy joking with them. My teammates here are great --- they keep me focused." "Our presentation is important here at UHW" he says, so maintenance is high on his list of priorities. That carries over to the home he shares with his mother, where the cooking, cleaning and ironing are activities he actually enjoys.
