Mario Lodato, the senior member of the two brother partnership that owns and operates United House Wrecking, has spent most of his career associated with the firm.
As a young man he spent many hours helping out in the company in all of its business.
Following his graduation from Loyola College in Baltimore, Mario experimented with a brief career in product development with one of his uncles.
Returning to UHW in 1986 he subsequently helped shape its evolution into the new business that it is today. |

Mario is very "hands on", and on a daily basis you'll see him greeting customers, moving and tagging merchandise, sitting in executive meetings, all variety of tasks, large and small.
Mario, married to Lorraine, lives in Riverside and has three children, Ross, Philip, and Lauren.
To quote him, "As an owner, this place is firmly in my blood-I can't imagine or remember a day when it didn't influence my life."
